  • Shaun Leisher: wyrd

This play is terrifying, hilarious and heartbreaking. I love the way Minnicino explores the responsibility of power and the concept of fate in this play. Fantastic piece for female actors.

  • Amy "Aviv" Gijsbers van Wijk: wyrd

wyrd is a beautiful, poetic meditation on power — what happens when you have it and didn't want it to begin with, or have no control over how its carried out, or want it and definitely don't deserve it — through the lens of four wonderful women who want so badly to be happy. Simultaneously, wyrd's slice of life and magic and myth; a little Chekhovian, a lot Charmed, and one-hundred percent full of heart. wyrd features the complex characters and lush, playful language that are some of what I love most about Minnicino's work.
