Believable dialog and relationships, and cringe adults postering their anti-racism make me for a thought provoking play. It makes you wander about the best intentions of white adults and our communities that fail to ask the victims, What do you want? What would you like us to do? Check it out!

READY STEADY YETI GO by David Jacobi is receiving a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. The partnering NNPN Member Theaters are Azuka Theatre (Philadelphia, PA), Stageworks Theatre (Tampa, FL), and Rogue Machine Theatre (Los Angeles, CA).

An imaginative, creative, fun commentary on racism and hypocrisy in America, with a Stranger Things vibe. Great production and design potential.

Funny. Sharp. Clever. Jacobi has documented here in delightful form the empty rituals and hollow sentiment often bandied about by well-intentioned white folk in the name of racial equality.

This might be my most favorite play I've read in five years. Smart, funny, insightful, thought provoking, and raw, my students and I adored it. Every theatre ought to do this play.

I saw this play at Azuka in Philadelphia. It's fresh, fast-paced, extremely clever and hilarious. Right there in your face, but subtle at the same time.

White guilt has never been so funny. You'll probably groan "Oh noooo!" at least once. This play is hugely theatrical, downright hilarious, and has great compassion for all of its young characters. A brilliant satire examining the ways in which even the most well-intentioned white folks working to stand up against racism can still perpetuate it.

This is one of the few plays I've ever laughed out loud while reading. I can't get over how funny it is, especially with how it deals with the ineptitude of white guilt. This one's good.
