Here's how the NPX opportunity system works:
- An organization fills out a form to create a draft opportunity. The form includes a description, a URL, and eligibility criteria, among other elements.
- The NPX team is notified that a new draft opportunity has been added to the system. We review them all, work with the organization to correct any errors, then publish the opportunity.
- The NPX system uses the selected eligibility criteria to identify all of the eligible scripts in our database, then emails the authors of those scripts to let them know about the opportunity.
- The authors of those scripts then evaluate the organization and the opportunity to determine whether their work really IS a fit.
- Authors who see a clear fit follow the appropriate steps to share their work with the organization. Sometimes that happens via the NPX tagging system, and sometimes the organization provides different instructions.
NOTE:
- You will ONLY receive a notification about an opportunity if your script IS a match based on the eligibility criteria set by the organization.
- The NPX match is based on the tags YOU assign to your script and the criteria set by the organization, but only YOU can determine if your script is a good fit.
