The community of National Committee readers for the 46th Bay Area Playwrights Festival advanced THE COOKIE INSTITUTE as a Semi-Finalist at Playwrights Foundation. We highly enjoyed this a satire on the American Workplace and on capitalism, and the questions it raises of what will it take to break a capitalistic world. We saw a lot of potential in this non-linear story, full of fun moments as the system churns through workers with no consideration of them.
