    It is the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's pleasure to recommend Robert Lunney and their play "Famous Blue Raincoat" as a finalist for our 2015 National Playwrights Conference. The play rose through a competitive, anonymous, multileveled selection process that took nearly nine months to execute. As one of 59 finalists out of more than 1,300 submissions, it is the value of the page that has allowed this work to prosper in such a competitive selection process. LEN (mid 40's) A wealthy and respected freelance "idea man" for public and private interests. A self-described nerd in school.

JANE (40) A sought after fiction editor for a major New York publishing house.

None of the characters are blood related. There is no specific need for them to be one race or another.
