Produce this everywhere and see this play not just as history but as a warning of what's at stake now.

I am so in awe of this play. A play about homosexuals that fought for their country and now are fighting back home to be who they truly are. This is a play about people in American history that do not get talked about. People in American history that those in power are trying to erase from the record books. This is a play that deserves to be in the conversation of the greats of American drama. A play that can change lives. I loved this play and need to see it produced yesterday.

Whew! Andrew Rosendorf and Carlyn Aquiline have created an overwhelmingly expansive, aching, and visceral poem of a play. A group of mostly queer war buddies who are collectively grieving the loss of a friend. What emerges from their interactions is a potent message about the power of authenticity, the courage to live truthfully, and the bravery it takes to fight not just for one’s country, but also for one’s right to exist. A necessary play for the sake of queer history, I was deeply moved.
