A funny, relatable, strange, and genuine piece of theater. I loved the care and heart put into each character, and how Meghjee uses strange circumstances (like talking birds) to discuss the strangeness of depression. Oh, and Ender is TOTALLY gay. Would love to see this staged!

I love this play! Tactfully written and genuinely hilarious. I love the progressive ideas and tactics that Meghjee brings to the table. Excited to read her other work!

A truly beautiful play. There’s so much here and it’s so skillfully written. So glad I stumbled upon this one. This play has the uncanny ability to zoom out the camera and give us a bird’s eye view of Laiba through the lens of Orson Scott Card’s super gay novel. Can’t wait to read Salwa Meghjee’s other plays!
