Palm Beach Dramaworks is a professional not-for-profit theatre company in West Palm Beach, Florida, known for producing lavish productions of classic American plays. As an an associate member theatre of NNPN, PBD also develops new works through The Dramaworkshop. Script submissions are only accepted from established literary agents, though we do occasionally find scripts through NPX as well. Of these submissions, a select number are chosen for assessment readings through our ongoing Drama(in the)works series. Each year, five of these titles receive staged readings at our annual New Year/New Plays Festival in January with the goal of identifying plays that will move on to various phases of development such as workshops, developmental studio productions, and/or world premieres in our main stage season.
